About this project
Stansted Airport serves over 160 destinations across Europe, Asia and Africa making it the fourth-busiest airport in the UK. Situated 68km northeast of Central London, the terminal building was designed by Foster Associates and structural engineer Peter Rice, featuring a ‘floating roof’ with pyramid roof trusses to create the impression of a stylised swan in flight. The architects chose Frost Drainage products in this project.
