About this project
Hong Kong International Airport on the island of Chek Lap Kok formally opened for commercial aviation in 1998. Construction began in 1991 and Frost Drainage are proud to have supplied our products for this project. The airport is an important shipment centre for destinations in China and all over Asia. It is one of the world’s busiest cargo gateway and passenger airports as well as being one of the worlds largest passenger terminal buildings. With approximately 65,000 employees making it a significant contributor to Hong Kong’s economy, it has more than 100 airlines operating flights to over 180 cities across the globe.
